Role Impact:

Electives is looking to expand our Learning Experience team with an individual who wants to grow their career in a dynamic startup environment. In this role, you will be a key player in building and developing our community of Elective Teachers through Lesson Design and Curriculum Building. Your expertise and passion for learning will drive the way that Electives classes are experienced across hundreds of companies and teams worldwide.

Who you are

You are an expert in curriculum design with an in depth knowledge of current trends in corporate training and training content demand. You are also an efficient project manager who loves making new connections, building relationships, and growing people and experiences to reach their highest potential. You can turn complex, multi-faceted projects into seamless experiences. You are a systems builder and you bring structures to your teams. You proactively anticipate the needs and pain-points of learners, and don’t shy away from difficult conversations with teachers. You have a continuous-growth mindset for yourself, your team, and for the teachers who deliver learning experiences for Electives clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify, Develop, and Build training curriculum using several different methods and platforms, driven by the Electives Learning Experience Strategy.
• Help to develop, and always question and challenge, the Learning Experience Strategy (how + why we grow our teacher community, what classes we offer, who teaches those classes, and how content is taught and delivered).
• Assist to prepare and coach new teachers to deliver excellent classes.
• Grow and foster the pilot learning community.
• Support and drive the development of new learning cohorts, tracks, pods, and panels from idea generation, logistics, preparation, content creation, all the way through to data analysis.
• Develop and facilitate a Teacher Community so that teachers can network, share best practices, and improve as a result of being on the Electives platform.
• Support the client team by listening to client priorities and ensuring that they are met by the work of the Learning Experience team.
• Organize and add to teacher-provided learning content in order to provide clients with learning resources and additional engagement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in Learning Design and Curriculum Design.
• Experience in DEI or Leadership training + learning programs is a plus.
• Familiarity with no code tools and experience building scalable communities
• Comfort working in fast-paced environments
• Enthusiastic about employee learning and company culture
